Orient Express; in 1935 he accompanied the inaugural navigation of the S.S.
Normandy: in 1938 it was present to celebrate the royal visit of King George VI
and Queen Elizabeth to Versailles; in 1944 to celebrate the liberation of
France with Charles de Gaulle; in 1984 he was on board the Supersonic Concord
at Mach 2.
Like every edition dedicated to
telling a special chapter in this fascinating story, "Time Collection" is the first of an electrifying series of milestones in the history
of the brand that will be presented every 2 years.
The cognac presented in this
exclusive decanter is the classic LOUIS XIII mix composed of 1,200
"eaux-de-vie". It is called "The Origin - 1874" as a
tribute to the original decanter created in 1874.
In honor of the act of genius of
Paul-Émile Rémy Martin of 1874, LOUIS XIII presents a special edition that
incorporates the design of the first decanters used 142 years ago, from the
time when Paul-Émile Rémy Martin bought an ancient royal flask unearthed by a farmer
in a field near Jarnac, the site of a historic battle. Inspired by its imposing
form and the fleur-de-lys regal medallions, he decided to create a decanter in
his own image for a special cognac made up only of the oldest and rare spirits
of the Grande Champagne, in his cellars.
Made of pure Saint-Louis crystal,
the decanter is housed in an elegant metal case and features an elegant woven
weave, a modern reinterpretation of wicker baskets in which the original
bottles of LOUIS XIII were delivered.

In onore dell'atto di genio di Paul-Émile Rémy Martin del
1874, LOUIS XIII presenta un'edizione speciale che riprende il design dei primi
decanter usati 142 anni fa, dal momento in cui Paul-Émile Rémy Martin acquistò
un'antica regale boccetta dissotterrata da un contadino in un campo vicino a
Jarnac, il sito di una battaglia storica. Ispirato dalla sua forma imponente e
dai medaglioni regali di fleur-de-lys, decise di creare un decanter a sua
immagine per uno speciale cognac composto solo dalla più vecchia e rara
acquavite del Grande Champagne, nelle sue cantine.
Realizzato in puro cristallo Saint-Louis, il decanter è
alloggiato in un'elegante custodia in metallo e presenta un'elegante trama
intrecciata, una moderna reinterpretazione dei cestini di vimini in cui venivano
consegnate le bottiglie originali di LOUIS XIII.
